April classes will focus and work on the health of our first chakra which is all about survival, support and feeling grounded and safe in our environment. It relates to our ability to focus, project and manifest worldly practical needs. When the first chakra is balanced, it manifests as a feeling of security. When the first chakra is out of balance or blocked, it results in feelings of instability, insecurity, grief, and depression. There can be themes of self-centeredness and self-indulgence as the ego works hard to get its needs met. In extreme imbalance, this can look like a very self-serving person. I found this class to be very relaxing in a strong way.
Thursdays | May 12th and 26th
May classes will focus and work on the health of our Sacral chakra, the second chakra and in Sanskrit, the Svadisthana Chakra in the human body. It covers the sexual organs, nerves, and glands for reproductive, kidneys and bladder. When properly functioning, it is said to bring on creativity, patience, responsible relationships, and attitude toward sex. If malfunctioning, it could bring on rigid emotions, guilt, no boundaries, and irresponsible relationships.
It was once asked, ““How can I change my life?” The Second Chakra will change your life, because it will affect the Fifth, and Fifth will affect the Sixth, and Sixth will affect the Seventh, and Seventh will affect the Second, Third, and Fourth.”

About the Instructor
Deanna McLean / Tera Namjot Kaur, born and raised in Texas, fell in love with Kundalini Yoga after attending several yoga retreats. In 2018, she completed her RYT-200 HR Teacher Training in Radiant Body Yoga with Tommy Rosen and Kia Miller. This training, located in Rishikesh, India, gave her a firm foundation in Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Vinyasa, pranayama, mantra, and meditation and proved to be transformational. To get a deeper understanding of Kundalini yoga she completed the International Kundalini Teachers Association (IKYTA-220) Level One Teacher Training in Houston in May 2020. She is currently working on the Level Two (IKYTA-500) certification.
She would love for you to join her in class and have your own experience. These classes welcome a nice break from her Logistics office job in which she’s worked for over 30 years.
