The Alchemy of Sound Gong & Crystal Bowl Sound Healing Immersion
Join us as we celebrate New Year’s Eve with a powerful and profound experience while balancing and harmonizing our chakras through visualization, meditation and sound vibration. Chakras are energy centers that control organs and glands in our body. Each carries a vibration and sound frequency that we will tune into—with our body, through gentle movement; with our mind, through meditation and visualization; with our voice through chanting sounds that resonate with each chakra—and through the sounds of the crystal bowls and gong.
Immerse yourself in the sounds and vibrations of the Universe that quiet the mind and resonate within the body to free energy, and break through emotional, energetic and physical blocks, tuning you into the Universal frequency. Discover the power of sound healing and its transformational effects on our health and well-being.
The evening will include gentle yoga, meditation and an extended deep relaxation session to the sounds of the cosmic gong and heavenly crystal bowls. Plan to stay afterward for refreshments and fellowship. Open to all… No yoga experience required.
Facilitated by Sylvia Valerio, with special guest, Kristine Flaherty and her amazing and healing alchemy crystal bowls.

About the Instructors
Sylvia (spiritual name “Charan”) has a passion for Kundalini Yoga and Meditation and a mission to help others find what she found — deep healing on all levels, stress reduction, peace, and a better quality of life. Having begun her own yoga practice later in life, she feels that yoga can be practiced at any age and flexibility level, and wants to share the many benefits with others. Her specialty is gentle yoga, with inspiring music, meditation and relaxation to the healing sounds of the gong and crystal bowls. Sylvia teaches at Yoga Central on Tuesday evenings 6:30pm and often facilitates the new and full moon meditations.
Kristine (spiritual name “Hari Shabad”) is a certified International Kundalini Yoga Teacher at the KRI 500 level, and completed Level 1 and all 5 modules of Level 2 training. Her teaching style focuses on helping to incorporate yoga into their daily lives so they can use it to support themselves as they move through the challenges and joy of the human experience. In her classes, she seeks to celebrate the infinite potential and truth that lies within each of us. Also drawn to the heart-centered healing of sound, Kristine intuitively plays alchemy crystal singing bowls to create harmonics and sound to clear and align our energy centers, incorporating the healing properties of stones and crystals in her work. The music she channels has balancing benefits and releases what each individual needs, even when played for a large group of people. Being a Reiki Master as well, Kristine’s wish is that everyone can experience how this powerful yet practical Kundalini yogic approach, Reiki, and the sounds of the crystal bowls can heal their life.“
You can look at disease as a form of disharmony. And there’s no organ system in the body that’s not affected by sound and music and vibration.” ~ Mitchell Gaynor, M.D. from his book Sounds of Healing
