September Full Moon Live-Stream Meditation with Sylvia
September 1, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Tuesday | September 1st | 6:30pm-8pm | Live-streamed via Zoom
The September Full Moon falls in the sign of Pisces and has the potential to be deeply transformative and illuminating. It’s referred to as the Harvest Moon since it’s the last Full Moon before the Equinox. Because of this, we have an opportunity to harvest all we can before entering the new season. It’s also a time for us to reap the rewards of all we’ve achieved since the Solstice back in June. Take a moment to think back to this point in the year. Who were you then? Who are you now? What have you learned? How have you changed?
Harvest Moons are always cleansing, so if there’s something you no longer wish to take with you into the new season, this is the perfect time to release and let it go. Falling in the watery sign of Pisces, this Full Moon is a sensitive one and may trigger unresolved or unexpressed emotions. We may also feel deeply sensitive and find it hard to not absorb the emotions of the world around us.

About the Instructor
Sylvia (spiritual name “Charan”) wears many hats — from IT Professional to wife, mother and grandmother. But her passion is Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. After many years searching for self-healing, by practicing various forms of yoga, meditation and energy-related healing modalities, she found that the technology of Kundalini Yoga is what works for her. Her mission is to help others find what she found — deep healing on all levels, stress reduction, peace, and a better quality of life. Having begun her own yoga practice later in life, she feels that yoga can be practiced at any age and flexibility level, and wants to share the many benefits with others. Her specialty is gentle yoga, with inspiring music, meditation and relaxation to the healing sounds of the gong and crystal bowls. Sylvia is an IKYTA certified, RYT-200 yoga teacher, and teaches at Yoga Central on Tuesday evenings 6:30pm.
“Amid the swirling, confusing, unfocused energies of the modern world, there is a light, a calm, and a healing in the center of all things.” ~ Yogi Bhajan
