New Moon Meditation and Gong Bath with Charansev and Charan
October 8, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm$15
Monday | October 8th | 6:30pm-8:15pm | $15
New moon is a time for birthing new visions and effecting change and growth in our lives. It’s an opportune time for meditation and prayer. We’ll take advantage of the new moon energies as we sow seeds of positive and conscious intention using breath, gentle yoga postures, meditation, sound and mantra. When we meditate and pray we allow our hearts to open. We allow love to flow in, and love to flow out, and we connect with the light and power to neutralize negative energy and raise consciousness.
Join us as we come together in community, utilizing the power of meditation and sound vibration to bring love, peace and healing to ourselves and the world around us.
Featuring an extended deep relaxation session to the sounds of two gongs played simultaneously by Charansev and Charan.
Immerse yourself in the sounds and vibrations of the Universe that quiet the mind and resonate within the body to free energy, and break through emotional, energetic and physical blocks, tuning you into the Universal frequency. Discover the power of sound healing and its transformational effects on our health and well-being.
If time permits, plan to stay afterward for refreshments and fellowship.
Facilitated by Charansev (Mary) and Charan (Sylvia).

About the Instructors
Charansev Kaur (Mary) brings a gentle, lyrical teaching style to her classes. With a 27-year background in teaching and learning (from Pre-K children to doctoral students), she guides yoga students through classes with clarity and compassion, always with beginners in mind. Charansev began teaching Hatha yoga in 2000, and now specializes in teaching Kundalini Yoga. It is her response to a deep calling to spiritual teaching in the Aquarian Age. Her wish is for each student to realize their innate wholeness, personal power, and infinite nature.
Sylvia (spiritual name “Charan”) After many years searching for self-healing, by practicing various forms of yoga, meditation and energy-related healing modalities, she found that the technology of Kundalini Yoga is what works for her. Now her mission is to help others find what she found — deep healing on all levels, stress reduction, peace, and a better quality of life. Having begun her own yoga practice later in life, she feels that yoga can be practiced at any age and flexibility level, and wants to share the many benefits with others. Her specialty is gentle yoga, with inspiring music, meditation and relaxation to the healing sounds of the gong and crystal bowls.
