Kundalini yoga is much more than just yoga! It focuses on the connections between your mind, body and spirit to increase strength, character and awareness. Also called the Yoga of Awareness, Kundalini yoga helps you release your dormant creative energy, and connect to your authentic self. It teaches techniques that expand your perception of the universe, helping you break unconscious limitations and self-doubts and connect you to your infinite potential to all that is possible. When you’re connected to your true Infinite Self, you have the intuition and power to make conscious choices that can support your identity within the world. Kundalini yoga’s primary objective is to awaken the full potential of every human being and for all beings to be healthy, happy, and holy.
Each class include discussion, yoga, meditation, essential oils, and deep relaxation to the healing sounds of the gong and crystal bowls. This series is great for beginners as well as yogis/yoginis of all levels!

About the Instructor
Sylvia (spiritual name “Charan”) wears many hats — from IT Professional to wife, mother and grandmother. But her passion is Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. After many years searching for self-healing, by practicing various forms of yoga, meditation and energy-related healing modalities, she found that the technology of Kundalini Yoga is what works for her. Her mission is to help others find what she found — deep healing on all levels,stress reduction, peace, and a better quality of life. Having begun her own yoga practice later in life, she feels that yoga can be practiced at any age and flexibility level, and wants to share the many benefits with others. Her specialty is gentle yoga, with inspiring music, meditation and relaxation to the healing sounds of the gong and crystal bowls. Sylvia is an IKYTA certified, RYT-200 yoga teacher, and teaches at Yoga Central on Tuesday evenings 6:30pm.
