Sat Nam Rasayan® | The Art of Healing
with Hari Kirn
Saturday | March 31st | 2pm-4pm
Sat Nam Rasayan®, which translates as “deep relaxation in the divine Name,” is an ancient art of healing brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan and formalized by his student Guru Dev Singh Khalsa. One teacher describes the process in the following way: “You lie down, I meditate, you feel better.” But what takes place in this meditation such that an effect is produced by the other? The answer lies, in part, in a quality of human consciousness that allows it to be transcendental. In Sat Nam Rasayan®, we learn to become stable with respect to intention (which is to heal someone or something) and attention (to all the ways in whcih our own soul is manifesting in the moment) while in a state of shuniya. In this workshop, you will practice accessing your own natural sensitivities to achieve an experience of transcendental quality of your consciousness. Come experience your own capacity to heal and be healed.
No experience necessary, all are welcome. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing.
Cost: $35 with RSVP –or– $50 at the door.
