December 13, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 27, 2017
Essentials of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Awaken the Heart Chakra
Wednesdays | Dec 6th – Dec 27th | 7:30pm-8:45pm
“When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it’s bottomless, that it doesn’t have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space.” – Pema Chödrön
The first step in awakening the heart is developing unconditional compassion for ourselves.
“It is unconditional compassion for ourselves that leads naturally to unconditional compassion for others. If we are willing to stand fully in our own shoes and never give up on ourselves, then we will be able to put ourselves in the shoes of others and never give up on them. True compassion does not come from wanting to help out those less fortunate than ourselves, but from realizing our kinship with all beings.” – Pema Chödrön
The focus of this 4 week series will be on experiencing yoga and meditation practices for the heart chakra.
December 6: Accept Yourself
December 13: Open Your Heart

“Only form the heart can you touch the sky.” – Jalal Al-Din Rumi
